11/15/2025 Houston Gen 1 x Gen 2 Meetup

On October 16th 2025, TYCon hosted its second Houston meetup alongside a Gen 1 Tsinghua University & Peking University joint alumni meetup. Taking place at George Bush Park, the event offered a chance for Houston’s Gen 1 and Gen 2 Tsinghua alumni to get to know TYCon in an informal setting with food, music, and games.

With dedicated Gen 2 tables set aside at the event, the meetup gave many Houston area Gen 2’s the opportunity to socialize over board games and food - while Gen 2’s of all ages battled it out over chess and Uno Attack, the event also provided many Tsinghua alumni the opportunity to get to know the TYCon organization and its mission. 

Beyond board games and socializing, the meetup saw young Gen 2 participants run games such as three-legged race and egg relays in the spirit of competitive collaboration. During the course of the day, participants had the opportunity to sign a Gen 2 banner, which gave everyone who attended the opportunity to make their mark on TYCon to be memorialized in a group photo.
