6/27/26 DMV Dimsum Dinner
by Shelby Xu Tsinghua Youth Connect (TYCon) hosted its DMV Dim Sum & Friends gathering on June 27 at 1983 Chinese Cuisine in Arlington, Virginia, bringing together 19 Gen 1 and Gen 2 members from across the DMV area for an evening of food, conversation, and community. 5/17/2026 LA Dinner at Century City
By Alexander Wang Spent the evening with members of TYCon in the LA region for a casual night out that ended up being one of those genuinely great hangouts. 5/3/26 SoCal Tsinghua 115th Anniversary Event at the Caltech Athenaeum
By Raymond Yao On May 3, 2026, approximately 15 Gen 2 members joined over 200 alumni at the Caltech Athenaeum Club for the annual Tsinghua Southern California Gala, which also celebrated Tsinghua University’s 115th anniversary. The event began at 10:00 AM with three concurrent forums covering topics such as digital media and online engagement, AI integration in medical devices, and developments in AI hardware. On a snowy morning, TYCon hosted a Boston city meetup at Winsor Dim Sum Café, bringing together Gen II college students and alumni despite freezing conditions. On December 6th, members of the Toronto TYCon community gathered for a winter meetup at the iconic Nathan Phillips Square for Ice Skating.
