2/07/26 Atlanta Midtown Cafe Social

On February 7th, TYCon held its first city meetup in the Atlanta region. This event marks the beginning of the expansion of the Tsinghua Gen II community in the state of Georgia and the American Southeast. This city meetup aims to start building and expanding the Gen II community in Atlanta. 

Gen II community members enjoyed specialty coffee, light bites, and relaxing conversations in a chill afternoon at Cafe Intermezzo, a 19th-century European-style decorated cafe with outstanding and uncommon coffee beverages, including Turkish Coffee. Participants are undergraduate and graduate students in the Atlanta region. Beginning with informal introductions, Gen II members exchanged their interest, past experience, their understanding of shared Tsinghua value, stories, and memories of their parents, and what their Gen II identity meant for them. Moreover, long-term goals and pioneering dreams also collided across the table, in a small corner at a café in Midtown.
