9/6/25 Houston Meetup

On September 6th, 2025, the Tsinghua youth community in Houston gathered for a casual lunch meet-up at the POST in downtown Houston. 

On the afternoon of September 6, the Houston Tsinghua Gen2 youth community met at POST Houston for a fun and casual meetup. We started with lunch at POST’s food hall, where everyone had the chance to grab food, hang out, and talk. Attendees came from all over the city, including the suburbs, making the gathering a true Houston-wide event.

After lunch, we headed up to the rooftop garden and park, where the views of downtown Houston provided a great backdrop for more conversation and connection. The mix of ages—from middle school students to working professionals—made for engaging exchanges and a variety of perspectives. Despite our different stages in life, our shared Tsinghua background brought us together and created common ground.

Overall, it was a fun afternoon of food, conversation, and community, and a great way to meet new Tsinghua youth from across Houston. We’re excited for this to be the beginning of building stronger momentum and a growing community here in Houston. We are already looking forward to our next meetup, potentially when the weather cools down or in collaboration with the Gen 1 community.
