Tsinghua Youth Connect (TYConnect) is proud to introduce the 2025–2027 Executive Team, a passionate and forward-thinking group of Tsinghua Gen2 youth from across North America dedicated to connecting, inspiring, and empowering the global Tsinghua community.

This year marks a pivotal moment for TYConnect, one of transformation and renewed vision. TYConnect is entering a new stage of growth, evolving from a biannual conference into a dynamic platform that nurtures year-round engagement, elevates diverse voices, and empowers every member to drive innovation. This evolution positions TYConnect not just as an event, but as a vibrant community and incubator for youth-led ideas and impact.
Leading TYConnect is President Helen Yang, a ’25 Schwarzman Scholar from Canada. She works closely with the Board of Directors and leads the Executive Team to shape the organisation’s strategic vision and direction. Supporting the leadership are Internal Vice President Celina Liang, a senior at the University of Pennsylvania, and External Vice President Megan Zhang, a USC alum from Los Angeles. Together, they ensure alignment across internal and external operations while overseeing their respective teams and initiatives.
They are joined by Secretary Jocelyn Liu, a graduate student at the University of Michigan, and Treasurer Alexander He, a Northwestern University alumnus currently based in Houston.
The internal and external executive teams drive TYConnect’s core programs and initiatives. Tatiana Nazlymov and Mia Liu, serving as Directors of Programs, lead the design and execution of events that foster youth leadership and engagement across North America. Tatiana, a junior at Princeton University, and Mia, a senior at Havergal College in Toronto, are spearheading exciting projects such as a mentorship program and regional engagement initiatives. Jessica Hao, Director of Communications and a senior at Rice University, leads TYConnect’s storytelling, digital outreach, and strategic messaging. Director of Website Jack Xie, a junior at Johns Hopkins University, and Director of Branding Alexander Zhang, a junior at Parkland High School in Pennsylvania, ensure TYConnect’s digital platforms and visual identity embody the organization’s innovative and forward-looking spirit.
The 2025–2027 Executive Team is eager to carry this vision forward, fostering deeper connections within the TYConnect network, amplifying collaboration across disciplines, and building a lasting platform for leadership, creativity, and global engagement within the Tsinghua community and beyond.
The Executive Team is continuously growing and would love to have you join us as regional leads or as part of various committees if you are interested in getting involved with TYCon.
