Our program hosts a series of local gatherings across major cities in North America, bringing together members of the Tsinghua Gen 2 community. These events create opportunities to connect, share experiences, and build lasting relationships through meaningful conversations and curated activities. By fostering local engagement within a global network, we aim to strengthen community ties and support the next generation of Tsinghua alumni abroad.

On October 16th 2025, TYCon hosted its second Houston meetup alongside a Gen 1 Tsinghua University & Peking University joint alumni meetup. Tsinghua Youth Connect Hosts Friendsgiving on Ice in Irvine

Great Park Ice, Irvine — November 9, 2025 Tsinghua Youth Connect (TYCon) hosted its first official city meetup Saturday evening at Great Park Ice in Irvine, drawing sixteen Gen 2 participants. The event offered attendees the chance to skate in one of California’s premier ice rinks, which regularly hosts Olympic figure skaters and professional hockey teams, including the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks. On October 18th, 2025, Tsinghua Youth Connect (TYCon) hosted its fourth NYC City Meetup, this time taking our Gen2 community to new heights (literally) with an unforgettable social networking mixer on the 75th floor of the Empire State Building. As a team, Mia Liu, Bella Yin, and Helen Yang organized a fun afternoon at For The Win, a board game café near downtown Toronto.
